And If You Were Still Dead

03:56 Jan 14 2005
Times Read: 651

Come to me,

Know the last of my flesh,

The candle at the window beckons now,

Brick of red and pane so thick,

Break into me mentally,

Though it is too late,

For you have sealed your Fate--

Know that you are not alone,

I too suffer in the night,

And bleed in sunlight,

Call to me in slumber deep,

I'll breath again for you,

Not a moment passes on,

That I admit I think not of you,

In my heart a key you keep,

That candle burns only for you,

Though I burn for another still,

Know that I could not do as I pleased,

But in past lives I felt you near,

With little emotion then-- perhaps even fear,

It was that pebble beach in fantasy,

That I held your hand close I,

I did not belong to myself even then,

As now I do, I give it away,

Only to hope I will be protected,

Why cannot I hear your voice now?

Bother not with such troubles, then--

Why my dear thog I know the how,

Did I not try my best to keep you away,

I've destroyed everything I've touched.

Of November and 9

03:54 Jan 14 2005
Times Read: 652

Call out to me,

I want to hear you breathless--

To know that you've been careless,

To have that moment alone with your corpse,

Scream to me your silence,

I know you've called to me for centuries,

But now I only hear the lonely beating of your freaked and listless little heart,

Come into the night,

Know the balance that you seek,

Will leave you hopeless and so weak,

Oh, Come into the night,

Know the pain you'll know tonight,

Will be the beginning of your new forever night,

So listen here--

How could you wander the streets here,

Knowing but now praying it'd never be right,

The pain is all gone and you can't stand the light,

You're bleeding, you're trembling,

Your night is tonight,

I can still hear your veins,

They call my name now once again,

So long to other lovers,

Underneath the silken covers,

--My gods,

Do you hear it,

Can you stand it?

Do you fear it?

Did you know that your pulse is music unto me,

Come into the night,

Know the balance that you seek,

Will leave you hopeless and so weak,

Oh, Come into the night,

Know the pain you'll know tonight,

Will be the beginning of your new forever night...

It's just you and me,

Forever tonight.

A Dress to Cast Off

03:53 Jan 14 2005
Times Read: 653

Mostly woven,

Thread indecent,

Coiled among the fingers as I lean,

Forward and back I go in silence,

The machine making way as it binds,

Alas I sit weary even still,

Casting shadows on the wall,

Candles swaying as I snip and fold,

Amazing is the daylight hour passing,

Crashing among the tatters sit my memories,

Again I sit and then I gather myself,

Folds and plumes I dance,

Coins clattering into one another,

As firey eyes look over the hemwork,

It slips off to be added to once more,

Another coin added to it with gentle mind,

Another tassle hung as head studies low,

Several fabrics mixed with no true fashion of our kind,

Casting glances to the clock as moments flow,

Too tired to go on yet too tired to cease,

Not yet a finished garment of the Heart,

But one of impatience and careful solitude,

Time grows long as hours seek days,

Another stitch and snip as fingers work carefully,

Loving one another as they flip, fold, and scratch,

At last blood falls upon the garment,

Well loved now,

Against her flesh the coins clatter,

Hair a mess against the floor,

She is spent, scraps and tatters no more.

Explination of poetry for LoveBytes.

15:21 Jan 10 2005
Times Read: 654

"Poems-- in theory- don't have to be complete thoughts line per line. Poetry is an alternate expression of ones feelings or emotions usually captured by a look, or body movement. Poetry tries to personify movement or feelings caught in a particular moment-- therefore showing a person not there at that time/place what i was 'like'.

Make sense?"
